I bought a bike!
I bought a bike! No, not like the vroom vroom kind, like the pedal kind! I’m trying to fight that Middle Aged spread. You have to read that in a whisper. Can’t say it out loud, it might hear you and come for you in your sleep. Next thing you know none of your clothes will fit and you’ll have to call in sick to work in order to make an impromptu shopping trip for bigger slacks. Anyway, I bought a bike. It took several trips to Wal-Mart. See, I wanted this particular bike, the Panama Jack cruiser in Orange and Hot pink. Yes, I was going for color choice only. I’m not in a race, don’t judge me. The app said it was in stock in one store, so I went to that store and nope. It also said it was in stock at the store around the corner. Nope. Acadamey, nope. Local small wal-mart? Nope. Super Walmart in another town? Nope. 4 Walmart’s and an Academy. Never found the stupid thing, so I ended up with another cute one, the Schwinn Fairhaven. It is a cruiser too, but this one has gears! So super glad I ended up with this one. You should have seen me trying to get it in my trunk. I had to move the car seat and put the seat down- super fun in the parking lot. I had the small portion down- didn’t realize I needed the bigger one. Oh well- got it home. So I decide to take it for a spin. It was super hard, didn’t really realize how out of shape I was. Could barely make it around the corner... well maybe if the tires were properly inflated I could have...
